This Saturday January 9th, Nike will release the Kobe XI ‘Achilles Heel’ online and to retailers everywhere. A deep red in the front of the sneaker fades in to a black as it approaches the heel running past the grey Nike logo. This sneaker is said to be lightweight, durable in high performance and highly responsive to movement. Seemingly themed after Kobe’s only weakness during his career, the ‘Achilles Heel’ features a graphic on the right heel that represents the hero and four stitch marks on the left for the four feet of thread used in Kobe’s 2013 Achilles surgery. What do you think about these sneakers? Will you cop these or drop these?
